The tone of a piano design must resonate down to the finest details. While all flat, curved and faceted surfaces are precisely fit with a fine layer of exhibition quality wood veneer, lathing and hand carving come into play wherever convex or concave forms are desired. Gold leaf pairs with a traditional Roccoco white and gold style case aesthetic, or it can be added to accent virtually any design. How much or how little is used is a matter of personal preference.
