Inlays: Drawing in wood and metal

Special projects often make use of various inlaid materials to display personal messages, symbols and more intricate designs. Inlaid brass lettering is often used to set a personal dedication or inscription into the case or fallboard. Wood inlays may also provide a particularly elegant way to display logos, crests and other designs. Even altering the wood grain pattern of a veneered accent piece can create a subtly refined aesthetic effect.
