Welcome to the design division of the Julius Blüthner Pianofortefabrik in Leipzig, Germany. Five generations into a world-renowned piano making legacy, design is ever at the heart of our greatest masterpieces. As a historic purveyor to numerous royal courts, Blüthner has created luxurious piano designs for Queen Elizabeth, Czar Nicholas II and the Sultan of Brunai, to name a few. Blüthner was commissioned to craft the innovative lightweight aluminium grand piano for the first transatlantic flight of the airship Hindenburg. Today, we are still redefining the boundaries of piano design. Our most demanding projects include bespoke pianos for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Benetti yachts. 100% hand crafted in Leipzig, Germany, each Blüthner piano is a unique creation marrying exceptional acoustic performance with aesthetic perfection.
